Peintre Marianne Zanolla au travail

je suis très chanceuse d'avoir trouvé une résidence d'artiste pour écrire pendant ces trois mois à vauvenargues en provence avec une grande artiste de l'art contemporain et abstrait, Marianne Zanolla; cette région lui appartient et elle appartient à cette région, et sa peinture y parle. Marianne est en train de préparer une belle exposition, "paysages", à florence, italie, et elle travaille presque tous les jours, disciplinée et de bonne humeur. le temps a été magnifique en novembre, un petit printemps presque inouï, et elle a pu travailler de temps en temps dehors.

c'ést fascinant de la regarder peindre: elle travaille sur plusieurs tableaux à la fois, et après chaque étape elle les étudie intensivement. "au début, je cherche et je cherche... quelque chose, je ne sais pas quoi, et ensuite, je cherche l'unité entre les tableaux." sa recherche n'était pas pour rien: ses tableaux sont magnifiques, les petits formats liés aux grands et, je pense, dans un nouveau style. attendez un autre poste pour les tableaux finis!

I am very lucky to have found an artist's residence in which to write these last three months in vauvenargues, provence, with a great artist of contemporary and abstract art, Marianne Zanolla; this region is part of her and she is a part of this region, and her painting speaks to it. Marianne is preparing a beautiful exposition, "landscapes", in florence, italy, and she works almost every day, disciplined and in a good mood. the weather has been magnificent in november, a little springtime which is almost unheard of, and she has been able from time to time to work outside.
it's fascinating to watch her paint: she works on several paintings at the same time, and after each step, she studies them intensively. "in the beginning, i'm looking and looking... for something, i don't know what, and afterwards, i look for the unity between the paintings." her search has not been for nothing: her paintings are magnificent, the small formats tied to the large ones and, i think, in a new style. await another post for the finished paintings!
