A Dramatic Reading of the Persephone Poems

 

On May 2, 2021, I gave a dramatic reading of the twelve poems of Persephone on Zoom, from my new poetry book Hélas Hellas Persephone.
 
I go full screen for the reading of the poems at around 13:00. The beginning is an introduction to the project and to the story of Persephone. There is Q&A at the end. 

Twenty-nine people attended, from Canada, Belgium, Greece, Italy, Bangladesh and the United States. I decided to make the recording publicly available. Enjoy.
