Fukushima Snow - Radiation Emergency

Fukushima Snow - Radiation Emergency

If we care about the people of Japan, we must get them help now! The situation in Eastern Japan is dire and will not return to normal anytime soon. Decontamination is a myth: the victims of TEPCO and the Japanese government must be evacuated and compensated appropriately. Clean food must be provided to children and adults who are still there!

This is a catastrophe of epic proportions. The "snow" of Fukushima Daiichi is both high and low levels of radiation which cannot be seen, smelled, tasted or felt but can be measured; we have increasing evidence of dangerous levels quite far from Fukushima itself. You can easily search articles on the internet from sources like "Enenews", "Fukushima Diary", "EX-SKF" and a complete review of news at the Fukishima 311 Watchdogs website: http://www.fukushima311watchdogs.org.

As the song says, "Save yourself... from yourself." OF COURSE it is difficult to leave one's home; but when that home is contaminated, it is not worth the risk to oneself and one's family. Children are especially vulnerable to increased levels of radiation and exhibit heart disease and other illnesses; unborn children and those not yet conceived may be born with deformities, as we saw over and over again after Chernobyl. The lessons and research of Chernobyl are readily applicable, and the website of Chernobyl Children Fukushima Children comes highly recommended to all who are helping the people of eastern Japan: http://tekknorg.wordpress.com.

The victims of the Fukushima nuclear disaster must be properly compensated in order to leave their homes and begin new lives. Asking them to return is a criminal act! There has been enough lies and criminal behavior from TEPCO and the Japanese government which will eventually be litigated.

Fukushima Daiichi is still at risk of explosions and collapse a year and several months after the initial disaster. Time is getting short to get help to Japan, both the engineering help it needs to stop further destruction to its nuclear reactors and the earth and resettlement help for the people of Eastern Japan. We will all need to loosen visa requirements in our countries to help these radiation refugees.

While the Japanese are most at risk, in truth we are all at risk from the nuclear disaster of Fukushima Daiichi. Radiation levels are spiking worldwide; and citizens in many countries are taking it upon themselves to buy radiation monitors and record measurements. We are seeing things we have never seen before, including radiation spikes over 100 cpm and consistent high readings in both rain and dry conditions.

In the United States, we have been told that Fukushima poses no risk and that no special precautions are needed; yet, we have learned that half of our own EPA monitoring system was disabled while the disaster was ongoing. The entire thing is a cover-up by the industry and government funders who want nuclear power to go on exactly as it was before, without our questions, while they play a chess game with our lives, supplying weapons-grade fuel for their war machine.

The nuclear industry is dead, whether they know it or not. Sadly, many of us around the world will die with it, even as we have been in increasing numbers since its inception.
